I like hanging out in the forest in heat waves. When you're in the shade and wearing a t-shirt it's great weather. It kinda sucks when you're out in the open though.

We had 44C (111F) three days in a row this Summer. One or two days of that in a row is bearable but 3 days is just cruel.

I fear we will never see a heatwave again here. We had a phenomenally cold winter, spring arrived late and it's been cold and raining for a week. I'm dancing in a spring recital show today... should be fun!  |

Maybe it's an Australia thing. Someone should see if Mub can access it. I'm from there, and I can, so I'm guessing it's not an Australia thing at all. I'm just happy that I can finally sleep at night again, rather than just roll around in a pool of sweat like I did all Summer. God, that's what I did. It was absolutely awful. I'm moving to Tasmania. (Not really. I just wish I could.) I fear we will never see a heatwave again here. We had a phenomenally cold winter, spring arrived late and it's been cold and raining for a week.
