Rust is a game that is currently in Alpha testing. It only costs $20 and there is no subscription fee or anything like that unless you're going to buy a sever. Speaking of which, my boyfriend and I started playing on Saturday night. It's now Monday morning and we've stopped only to eat, sleep, and watch Game of Thrones . We are completely addicted. SOOOO we went ahead and bought our own server. It's going to go live probably today (Monday) or tomorrow (Tuesday). If any of you are interested in the slightest bit, I suggest buying the game. It's literally countless hours of fun and it's even better when you're playing with people you know (you can have some people hunt, some people gather, and other people go raid abandoned towns.. just be careful of radiation levels and radioactive bears and wolves when you're in/near towns ). We've already got several people who are going to join our server when it goes live, so if you want to join our server, you need to let me know asap as the limit is currently set at 50 people. Once the ball gets rolling, we're also going to set up a Google Hangouts for the server (we already have a facebook page but the group is currently invite only). Here is a trailer to get you more pumped .

It sort of is. A lot of people refer to it as "minecraft for adults". Not saying that minecraft is for kids, but even in Alpha testing, Rust has a more aesthetically pleasing look about it.

You can probably play it on any PC, doesn't have to be gaming. My cousin is currently playing with me on a laptop. The graphics aren't very intense atm because it's still in alpha testing.

well the issue with that is I have no computer of any sort. when my family and I got back from Germany our comp wouldn't turn on cause the power unit stopped working. then my mom got a kindle and then a newer one and I have her first one. plus if I'm going to start playing games on the pc then it will be when I get a decent gaming pc which might not happen for a couple of years, depending on how long it takes me to finally decide to move back to Germany, at which point I plan to have the perfect gaming setup.

looks like minecraft on steroids. Literally what I just said to my partner! This actually looks pretty cool, Liv, I actually might get it! Would give me something entertaining to do when I'm not playing Guild Wars.

And I have a mic now so if we played together we could talk, it's really hard if you're not talking to each other via mic.
