I recently watched The Muppets (2011) and The Family (2013). I enjoyed both of them, although The Family (crime movie starring Robert De Niro) felt a little flat to me, but still enjoyable. The Muppets was great, I loved that one.

I recently watched The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. I was completely surprised by how good it actually was. The first film wasn't bad at all, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I did this one.

We actually watched Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. It was pretty entertaining.

The last film I watched at home was "The World's End", which I found rather disappointing, considering it's a Simon Pegg film. :/

The Bourne Legacy it was ok but not my favorite. I am of the mindset that a Bourne movie without Jason Bourne isn't a good movie. not saying it was terrible just really confusing at times and a very terrible cgi scene.

Last movie I watched was actually Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, the channel I watch is showing each one every weekend in Celebration of the upcoming new movie

Quite simply, The World's End didn't make the high bar that Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz set, and Paul felt at times like thinly veiled atheist propaganda (which to me is just as insufferable as those Christian films that are no more than thinly veiled Bible tracts). The Bourne Legacy it was ok but not my favorite. I am of the mindset that a Bourne movie without Jason Bourne isn't a good movie. not saying it was terrible just really confusing at times and a very terrible cgi scene. It felt completely redundant to me. The original trilogy has already told all the story we need to know.

I agree, I liked it a lot. I read all three books, and the second book was the only good one, so I was hoping to like this film and I did. I didn't like the first and third book, and I didn't like the first movie either. That whole franchise is really hit and miss for me.

I thought the first movie did a decent enough job of setting up the world and story premise. At least it was better than all the Twilight films put together.

That's true, but it was also a direct ripoff of Battle Royale. And something about that didn't sit right with me.

Yes, it's the Japanese movie set in a Dystopian future where a bunch of school aged kids are sent to an island, where they are forced to kill each other on reality TV until there is one winner left. Sound familiar?

Well, it's quite old now, and the budget was way lower than The Hunger Games. For it's time it was a good film, but you have to watch it in context to that. Compared to the HG it's a lot more simple in execution. I personally think it's a lot more twisted and dark than The Hunger Games.
Here's the trailer.
