I personally enjoy badminton the most. When I was younger, I used to play soccer, basketball, volleyball, and I competed in track&field events for my school. I also played a little bit of softball.

I used to do archery, and coach archery classes. But it's been a few years now since I had to give that up due to moving. Since then I haven't done any other sports. I don't really like competing in sports that much. I enjoy like, fun games with friends where you just kick a ball around, and I love a bit of beach/backyard cricket, but not in a competitive way.

I'm not a competitive person either so I've tended to shy away from sports my whole life. The only things I ever really played was the odd game of tennis or hockey but I was usually playing with folks who were in it for the sole purpose of dominating others and accruing bragging rights. That was no fun at all. I'd sooner have a nice cup of tea and a lie down.

I'm not competitive. I never played for the spirit of being competitive either. I just liked to practice and test my skill. I never minded if my team won or lost, I just liked playin.

Then I wish you'd been around when I was playing sports. I might have had fun then.

I'm not much into team sports or competition either. Having said that, I love volleyball and basketball. My hubby and I used to play volleyball in a fun league once a week and it was tons of fun. Badminton is great fun too. I play with my kids sometimes and when we got ot the cottage to visit my mother-in-law, we get all the nieces and nephews together and go play basketball or "21" at the nets in town. My 13 yr old nephew was some annoyed with me that I beat him at 21...lol.

We played Horse a lot as kids, and my step-brothers come from a family of really good basketball players, so whenever I played with them, it was never much fun lol.

Wii archery is great too! "21" is a game where you get a partner and stand at the line. You take turns shooting at the net from there until somebody gets a basket. Once you get your basket you have to catch the ball after your partner's turn and then shoot from where you catch it. A shot in net from behind the line is 2 points and a shot in net from anywhere else is worth 1. You can't start accumulating points until you get that first shot in though. The first player to 21 wins. It's fun and less physically demanding than a game of basketball: there is less running.

Horse Riding for me. It'll always be my passion, even though it's been so long (nearly a year ) Since I rode. The thrill of a race, or a jump-off is just phenomenal. So incredible, I love it so much, and I miss it even more, lol.

When the horses are forced to race really fast while doing tall jumps as well. It's really controversial here in Aus, and it's banned in most states. But the few states that keep doing it are always met with thousands of protesters each year. I wish it was banned, but I'd love to hear an opinion from someone who knows a lot about horses.

But the few states that keep doing it are always met with thousands of protesters each year. I wish it was banned, but I'd love to hear an opinion from someone who knows a lot about horses. Standard jump-racing doesn't bother me. The Grand National (and other 'big' races), bother me. Contrary to popular belief, just like Show Jumping, a lot of horses love to race. If its a safe number of horses running, and not dangerous jumps, then it doesn't bother me at all. Of course I know there are horses who are forced to jump, and I think that's cruel and wrong, but on the other hand, look at Cross Country, the Jumps in XC are solid wood and fixed into the ground. At least Jumps in racing aren't solid and have a bit of give to them when knocked. 9 times out of 10 the horse doesn't even need to clear the jump. A friend of mine, who also is passionate about Horses, posted on Facebook about the Grand National, and how cruel and sick it is and how they should all be hanged for what they do (I find this majorly extreme tbh); well, another person commented this on the status: "The first grand national was held in 1836 with is a hell of a old tradition with only 60 fatalities to the horses from 1836 to 2014 were as the first major show jumping event was in 1907 at the Olympia and since then there has been over 80+ horse fatalities according to British Show jumping Magazine witch shows more deaths in less time there for if the grand national was banned then surely you believe that all horse related events should be banned" Which I wholeheartedly agree with. If they ban one equine sport, then why not all? All of them have their dangers and fatalities, but they're all enjoyed by different people. I genuinely don't believe that people who organize horse-racing don't wish to see the runners hurt or killed because of the races. I think it all needs to be revised, they should let the Thoroughbreds fully develop and grow before they start racing, they should lower the number of racers and make the jumps more manageable. Other than that, I actually enjoy racing.

Ah okay. It's a sad fact here in Australia that the racing industry is really corrupt. Money comes first, every single time. In fact, money comes first, second and third. And horse welfare is unfortunately right down the bottom. Every single year in racing season here, both in flats and jumps you see countless horses fall and euthanized in the middle of the track. I think one year as many as 10 horses were killed in a few weeks in jumps racing. Not only that but very little is done for them outside of racing. They are raced until they can hardly walk anymore then just dumped somewhere after their career. it's such a corrupt and depressing industry, it makes me sad.
