I love travelling, but when you live in a big isolated island, pretty far from most countries then it can be hard. I've always been amazed of people who live in places like Europe, where you can actually take a day trip to another country! Although, when you grow up on an island it's hard to even process the fact that some people can drive to another country.
Anyway, the countries I have spent time in are:
Australia (duh) Russia France Indonesia Vanuatu Singapore
That's about it for now, aside from airport stopovers. But towards the end of this year I'm going to England! I'm really excited to see London and the English countryside.

I notice Liv that the three countries you have been to are all connected together. Can I ask how you travelled? Did you go by plane, or drive, bus etc?

Car, each time.
When I went to Niagra falls I was very young, but my family drove up there. This was back when a passport wasn't required to travel between the two countries.
When I was 15, I was a christian, and I went on a service trip to Mexico with a church to build a house for a family of five that was living in a shack with no doors. It was a good experience, but honestly Juarez was a little scary. The countryside was beautiful, but we couldn't drink the water and there were always gunshots nearby the garage that we slept in at night.

Ah okay. Ah man, this is the part that gets me. The whole "travelling to another country by car thing". I wonder if it's just me, or if there are other Australians/people who live on islands that are just as fascinated by this.
Yeah that sounds creepy. The scariest place I've ever been in Russia. I never really felt safe there.

Russia would be scary but I would LOVE to travel there. I'm pretty obsessed with Russia. I love their history prior to WWII. And their accents.
When people in Europe post on facebook and say "Going to France for the weekend!" or whatever, it always astonishes me that it's so easy for them all to travel to other countries. I'm pretty jealous. Unless I get lucky, I'll probably never leave the Americas.

Yeah my sister lives in London and she's always just going to France for a weekend or going to Amsterdam etc. It's crazy how close together it all is. It's so hard to get anywhere from Australia except for Indonesia and New Zealand.

Germany (because I live there) The Netherlands (it's pretty close) England (school trip in 7th grade, to London, which was totally not worth it; also, it's a shame that a student of English language/literature/culture has never really been to England >_>) France (passed through it on the way to England and spent a weekend at the French/Belgian border with my aunt) Belgium Italy (school trip to Rome <3) ... and that's it. Travelling is so incredibly expensive, even inside of Germany. I don't have a car, which makes everything even more complicated. Whenever I want to leave the region (I travelled to conferences in Frankfurt and Munich this/last year) I have to save up long beforehand. v_v When people in Europe post on facebook and say "Going to France for the weekend!" or whatever, it always astonishes me that it's so easy for them all to travel to other countries. I'm pretty jealous. Unless I get lucky, I'll probably never leave the Americas. I know what that feels like. Last year a fellow student of mine went on vacation to Iceland. The flight alone cost as much as I now earn in a month. ;_;

I've very sadly only been out of the country once, to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.
I'll fix that when I can, as soon as and as much as I can.

USA (born/live there), Canada (I visit a friend I actually met through the TFF boards whenever I can), Mexico (some family trip once when I was in grade school), and Japan, of course (family there). About to go to school in Dublin, and I imagine that I'll be doing a bit of traveling while there and also hopefully hopping over to England to hang out with some other TFF folks.
