I have indeed. (Thanks for reminding me that this thread is here!)
I'm up to the bit with that guy Bill or whatever his name is. Him, Joel and Ellie are creeping through backyards full of infected to get to a tank with a battery or something. It's pretty stressful trying to sneak around when the other two keep clomping everywhere in their elephant shoes. Way to alert them to our presence, guys. Seriously, you can't take 'em anywhere...

Oh yeah I liked bill. It's been a while since I played it but I think that's around halfway.

Well, the game tells me that I'm now 47% done, so you were kinda right, Crouton. Joel and Ellie have parted ways with him now. The bit where they had to push the car to start it was freakin' intense! Zombies everywhere! And then the huge bloater inside the school! Yikes! That was scary!

I remember that part, that was very good. Took me a few turns to escape. And Bill was a great character. For a game the story is pretty generic in the Last of Us, but it's the characters that really make the game interesting.

It's true, two people trying to survive in a zombie apocalypse sounds like almost every second game out right now, but the complexity of the characters made this stand out way more than all the rest.

I'm certainly hooked. I plan to play more tonight if I can. I'd like to be progressing through it on a more regular basis than I currently am, but I'm going between this and Mario Kart 8 right now. I find that I need the levity of that to alleviate the intensity of The Last of Us.
