Fliegerlied by Tim Toupet is basically my favourite thing ever. The music video is basically just a video of him live, but the song is the studio version lol.

I have no idea what this Okkervil River song is about. Today's the first time I've heard it. The video leaves me feeling strangely nostalgic. I guess I'm just in a melancholy mood...

I know I've posted this one before, and it's probably another reason why I don't get invited to parties, but damn does it get me every time. Every. Time. There's a reason why Johnny Cash was so beloved. He sang about the human condition in a way that no one else ever could.

He is kind of a legend of American music, isn't he?Or at least one of the most famous singers there.

He is kind of a legend of American music, isn't he?Or at least one of the most famous singers there. He most certainly was. Unfortunately, he passed on some years ago, but he's left a huge body of work that is absolutely amazing. I don't even like country music but I do like Johnny Cash's stuff, and maybe because he seemed to be less country and more universal... if that makes sense.
