The communities. If a game doesn't have a good community, chances are, I probably don't enjoy it all that much (unless it's a single player game/some servers are crap but others are great deal). We had to start playing Rust on a different server tonight, and after most of my clan logged off, one girl from my clan and I were still playing. This random guy from another clan (who we are kind of at the beginnings of war with) said he had a present for us when we returned to our base, but only at night. He waited like an hour for us to get at base. We were terrified because we thought he was going to blow our base up/kill us. Turns out all he wanted to do was this: While blaring "Light My Fire" by the Doors. It was the most hilarious and awesome thing I've ever encountered in a PVP game.

Gaming in general, but as I said "The communities. If a game doesn't have a good community, chances are, I probably don't enjoy it all that much (unless it's a single player game/some servers are crap but others are great deal)."

I've never been a part of a gaming community. I'd very much like to be but usually the kinds of games I'm into aren't the kinds that most others are.
As for the reason I love gaming? Well, it's simple. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the reason. Not long after we got married, my wife had corrective nose surgery and was laid up for a week looking like she'd gone twenty rounds with Rocky Balboa. I waited on her hand and foot, which was something that she did not fail to notice. The first day she went back to work, she bought me a second hand N64 and a copy of aforementioned game, and the rest was history.
Every time I think of Zelda, I think of my wife. She has done many romantic things for me since, but this still tops them all. I owe her so much.

That's cute I think you would really like Neverwinter Online, Tali, you seem to enjoy the same types of games that I do.

I also love gaming for the community even if it's not an online game there will always be a community of people who enjoy the same game and you can talk to em about it forever. the only parts of gaming communities that I don't like are the people who think that you suck because you were having a bad match/game/race/whatever else or because a game has been out for years and you still have to beat it even though you bought it day 1 at midnight. but I just shrug those people off after getting mad and calling them a bunch of random names that they won't hear cause you're screaming at your tv screen or computer screen lol. that happens to me a lot.

Hmm, it's hard to pin point exactly why I love gaming, I think it's because I can't really remember a time before I played games. I grew up on games, and really never stopped being interested in them. I've always loved them.
