No it's not about Watch Dogs again....although it is about Ubisoft!
Some of you might know that one of my two most favorite movies is Brotherhood of the Wolf (Le pacte des loups). The other one is REC.But Brotherhood of the Wolf is the one I'm talking about here,it's a great movie that's set in 1765 in France, based on the legend of the Beast of Geveaudan.
That movie, with its characters and plot and setting and costumes and everything was a big inspiration for me.And I was always hoping there would be a game set in that period,in the 18th century, with flintlock muskets and tricorne hats and those cool longcoats etc.
I even had a dream once, that I was playing an RPG that was set in the French Revolution, and the character could have flintlock pistols, muskets, swords and all that stuff.I loved that dream.Although later, like always, the dream changed and I was fighting some ...I don't know medieval style crusaders or monsters or whatever on some castle ramparts at night.
But anyway, since then,I remember that dream. How cool it would be for someone like me to actually play a third person Role Playing Game taking place in that era! ...........And now...years later...many years later actually, that dream comes true.
While not actually an RPG,the Assassin's Creed series have a lot of RPG elements and stuff. And Ubisoft has announced that the next Assassin's Creed game,Assassin's Creed Unity will be taking place during the French Revolution.
My "dream" metaphorically speaking here, had come true in a big part when AC3 came out,Anakin and Padme must remember how happy I was back then when I bought it.And especially when AC4 Black Flag came out as well!
But now...my dream comes true with the next AC being placed in the French Revolution period!!!!!
Darn,I want to put my tricorne hat on again but my mom will think I've gone completely insane.
Let's load the muskets and raise the flags! You do know how to load a bloody musket, don't ya?

I'm finding it really hard to continue to be interested in the Assassin's Creed games. I haven't really liked them that much since 2, as to me they feel too similar and repetitive. Like the same game over and over. But I do admit I haven't played Black Flag yet, and I heard that one is good.

I have to admit that I find the interface of the first AC games too confusing and complicated.I also HATE the fact that you have to go back in time and then in some parts of the game back in the present. But being a big lover of the 18th century and seeing that Ubisoft simplified the interface...I just love AC3 and AC4 Black Flag.Although I haven't finished any AC game yet

I finished AC2. It's the only one I've finished so far and it's my favourite.

I finished the first 2 and would have finished Brotherhood if I hadn't bumped into a glitch. I really liked the first couple and I will admit that Black Flag was amazing except for all the tailing missions. AC3 to me was terrible. there was nowhere near enough stuff to do in the frontier, and I didn't really like Conner all that much. I did like the bow though. the new one I think will be a wait till it drops in price buy for me.

Black Flag is probably the second best Assassin's Creed game after Assassin's Creed II. But people do question if it's more a pirate game rather than an Assassin's Creed game. It should be said that pirating is a big aspect of the game. And I found it interesting because unlike so many films, it doesn't show you pirates in the stereotypical manner, but more in a realistic manner. The game teaches you what they were really like and what their goals were. And as cruel as it is I really like the harpooning. When a white whale shows up on the map I go after it.
