Kickstarter, Indigogo, Pozible etc. There's so many of these crowd-funding sites now, and they keep stealing my money! I get really hooked into things like this, and like to support all sorts of projects, since there always seems to be so many I am interested in. There are also personal ones too now. My friend is currently trying to raise funds to buy a new car because she is severely disabled and is struggling a lot with money. I think it's great these things exist. Has anyone ever donated to one?

if I had the money I would but at the moment I am short on funds. Gaming is a really expensive hobby.

I know that pain all too well, especially in Australia where games are about double the price of anywhere else in the world.

I can't say that I have donated to any crowd-funded projects. These days there seem to be so many people willing to take my money. There just isn't enough of it to go around I'm afraid...lol.

I have a Kickstarter account, and I've funded two projects so far. The first one was a fantasy-roleplaying-novel project, to which I pledged enough money to secure a hardcover copy of the book. The second one was the game project Storium, which I can really recommend for anyone who likes forum-RPGs. I pledged enough money to receive BETA access to the website (and if anyone's interested in trying it out I can invite you, so you won't have to spend any money to get access).

Nice, I've funded maybe 6 or 7 projects so far on a few different sites. I just put money towards and art book so I can get a copy of the book. I'm excited for that one.
