Does anyone here buy online much? Or are you still into regular shopping.
I personally hardly ever use online shopping. I buy digital things like steam games online, but find that most of the time it's not worth it to buy actual things. Shipping to Australia is super expensive. I once wanted to buy something online that was $7, and shipping would have been $30. And it's like that on almost all websites, so I tend to stick to regular old going into the shops shopping. How about you?

I don't do it a lot for some reason. We're currently building me a new computer, so we're ordering those parts online, but overall, I still stick to in-store shopping. I have ordered phones and other electronics off the internet though, those usually have better deals. And I think I'm going to start ordering lizard supplies off the net too. I'm about to order home-fecal float kits for them. It really just depends on what I'm buy I guess.

I've bought lizard and rat stuff online before, but it's one of the only things I do buy online as no one sells it close by.

I might actually be getting live animals online too from now on, from breeders. We're getting a corn snake once we get our new 40gal breeder for Oody.

I've never liked the way people ship live animals. Putting them in little bags in tiny boxes etc with a little heat pad. I know they say it's fine for the animals but it really upsets me to see them treated that way. It's just my own view on it, but I don't think I could ever get a live animal in the mail like that. It would make me too sad.

I would never do it unless it was overnight and I knew the animal wouldn't be in there for too long. I don't like it, but ordering from a breeder is just so much better than getting an animal that is likely to be sick from a petstore. I don't know about pet stores in AUS, they might be better than the ones here in the US... but we're getting of topic

I think you and I should start another thread for this stuff. I'll do it now.

I already started one for pet stores One thing I am also known to buy in online shopping is movies and computer games. I've started using steam and origin almost exclusively to buy video games rather than go to a store to buy them. It's nice having everything stored in a cloud and saves me a lot of storage space.

Yeah I do buy steam games online, but when it comes to other games I like to buy the hard-copy of them as I like how they look lined up on my shelf. I've run out of space, that's for sure haha, but I love the look of all my games lined up.

That's how I used to be as well, but once I realized how much easier it is to click a few buttons than it is to take the CD out, put it in the CD drive, enter in a code... you know... I'm just lazy

Haha, I love discs, and putting away my case on the shelf, and lining them up, and dusting them and arranging them...yeah I'm just weird haha. I get great pleasure out of doing these things so I won't be converting too all digital games anytime soon.

It's kind of funny that you say that because I have so many issues about cases. Like some of my sims 3 cases aren't the same size and it drives me absolutely nuts. I love displaying them though. The other issue is that I buckled and bought University Life online because NONE of the stores near me had it... so now I have a complete collection that looks incomplete because I also have 2 other expansions in digital form for that same reason. So I think I'll just make it easier and buy everything digitally.
I have the same issue with books. If I buy a book of a series in paperback, I HAVE to have the other books in the series in paperback or else I can't display them >_<

Haha, this is what a part of my gaming/movie bookshelf looks like right now. I've never been too OCD about having the whole series in the same format, but I do prefer it.

That's only a bit of it, the full story looks a bit more like this.
