I loved 28 Days Later and Shaun of the Dead! Brilliant films the both of them.
I also loved World War Z. That was so much better than I was expecting it to be.

I love all of those movies that you mentioned @taz, including World War Z, Taliesin. Though, as I was talking about in another thread... World War Z gave me 2 sleepless nights (literally did not sleep until the sun came up) in a row and 2 weeks straight of nightmares. You also have to appreciate the older zombie films like Dawn of the Dead (not the stupid remake, that sucked)

In my first year of Uni I did a group project which was a sock puppet show parody of the Evil Dead movies. Yes you heard me right, I did this as a University student.

World War Z gave me 2 sleepless nights (literally did not sleep until the sun came up) in a row and 2 weeks straight of nightmares. It really was an effective film, wasn't it! The zombies in that were amazingly portrayed and felt like a true threat, especially as they were present in such vast numbers. I also like how the film played out in the style of a procedural. It was quite interesting how Brad Pitt's character tried to piece together all the evidence to eventually find a way to combat the zombies at the end. That was great!

The film as a whole was pretty flawless... and those zombies are just unstoppable. Ugh.
