New trailer has dropped for this film, looks alright. I want to see it because I generally like Marvel films.

Rocket looks adorable. And I think Zoe Salanda looks sexy as hell in green. I've always had this weird attraction to girls in movies with green skin, or blue skin, or really just any colour other than the usually human skin colours.

I think because it makes them seem more exotic really. I was always partial to She Hulk in the Marvel comics even though I was never really into superheroes.

I think this movie is going to be a lot of fun and very comedic. The one that always struck me about girls with blue skin was Rebecca Rojmin-Stamos as "Mystique" in X-Men. Not too many people could pull off a costume like that!

True, and she was basically naked underneath all of that makeup. It takes a lot of confidence to do something like that.

Really? Surely they would have put her in a body suit or something?

Jennifer Lawrence also pulls off the Mystique blue-scales quite well.

Really? Surely they would have put her in a body suit or something? Apparently no. She had a copious amount of prosthetics glued all over, and then she was spray painted that colour. That's why you don't see any telltale cloth-like wrinkles anywhere. Jennifer Lawrence also pulls off the Mystique blue-scales quite well. She does indeed, but then Jennifer Lawrence looks great in anything.

Oh dear.... I bet that was one interesting costume to get off in the shower....

She'd have an assistant get in the shower with her to help peel it off. The reality was a lot less sexy than it sounds.
Which makes me wonder what the makeup regime was like for the actors in Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm sure things have come a long way since the early days of superhero film making though...

I've had zombie makeup once in my life and even that was painful to get off in the shower, so I don't envy them at all.
Look at the musical Wicked. The actor who plays Elphaba has to get green for sometimes 7-8 shows a week.

That can't be healthy. The actress who played Zahn in Farscape eventually had to quit the role because the makeup was making her sick. She didn't want to leave but her health was far more important.
