I enjoy Norse mythology quite a bit! It's very rich and detailed, and not too far off from Greco-Roman mythology. Also, I am a Hellenist, which means I follow the Greek Pantheon as my religion, so I'd say Greek Mythology is my favourite

Greek mythology for me, we studied it a little in High School and I really love anything to do with it.
Also I don't know if it counts as Mythology but I really love anything Medieval and Arthurian.

I would say that Arthurian legend counts as Mythology because it's widely accepted as not true (boo the naysayers!).
I do have a soft spot for Arthurian legend though, it was my first introduction to the myth of our world.

I just adore it, I would absolutely love living in an era like that, knights and dragons and horses and everything like that would just be too epic.

I completely agree! I just can't go on not thinking it wasn't all real at some point

As they say, all legends as an ounce of truth. The Arthurian Mythology might not have happened exactly how the stories portray but then again which story you're going by makes a world of diference. there are at least 3 different versions that I have heard about. I was also very into Greek Mythology when i was learning about it in Middle School, but sadly that kinda drifted away from me. I still enjoy it but I also enjoy all the other stuff. Japanese lore is what I'm currently getting into, plus most occult stuff like Vampires and Werewolves and Fairies. I like to read about the myths because I am attempting to get ideas to make my books more authentic to what the lore of a particular area was. but the fact that I am a self proclaimed Heathen (Pagan) i gotta enjoy my Norse Mythos.

Probably my favourite is Greek mythology and Norse Mythology. But I'm a hardcore mythology fan. I really like Joseph Campbell's work on the exploration of mythology, which really opened my eyes and still is very interesting, because I almost find out something new every day.

I'm curious if anyone has read Dr. Bill Curran's books at all. they are very interesting about the old myths on different creatures.
edit: it's Bob Curran. for some reason I always get it mixed up.
