there will be 3 main types of guild wars
1~ Planned battle. the participants of each guild meet in a specified thread, at a specified time. myself and 1-2-(3 if i am not online) mods will referee the meeting and assign points and victory.
2~ Raid unopposed. an attacking guild declares to a mod their intention to raid another guild. a raid thread is created in the guild being attacked with the attackers each posting their actions. If no defenders have emerged after a period selected by the mod/s involved then automatic victory will be granted to the attacking guild. points for the attack will be assigned by myself and 1-2 mods after going over the attack.
3~Raid opposed. an attacking guild declares to a mod their intention to raid another guild. a raid thread is created in the guild being attacked with the attackers each posting their actions. during the time set by the mod/s involved defenders have arisen to challenge the attacking guild. as with planned battles points and victory will be assigned by myself and 1-2-(3 if i am offline) mods after looking over the attack.
so... what are the points for?
to start, each guild will have 0 defensive positions/walls/towers etc for the attacking guilds to overcome. points allow guilds to build defences to assist in the defence of their guild.
points may also be used to repair damage to any buildings damaged in an attack (these threads involving the buildings that are damaged will be considered closed, and posts in them will be temporarily removed to another thread until damage has been repaired.
a defensive position which is not overcome will have its points removed from an attacking guilds score.
