My roomate and I have two rats, Thelma and Louise. This is the first time owning rats for both of us. We got them from a friend of mine who breeds rats. Black and White Louise Louise again. And this is Thelma asleep in my lap while I watch Game of Thrones haha. Thelma is more of a laprat, while Louise is always energized.

They are gorgeous creatures! Wifey has always wanted to own a rat, and I think that's a great idea too. One day we will. One day...

Key with rats are you can never own one. Two minimum. They are very social creatures and don't do well on their own. Two are fine though. My friend has 20.

I never knew that. I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

They like to sleep in a pile. It's pretty cute. The more rats you have the bigger the pile haha. Our girls are sisters.

Ha ha! I'll bet a rat's favourite expression might be, "Stacks on! ZZZ-ZZZ-ZZZ..."

We had rats at one point too but they weren't at all cuddly. The first one we had was "Einstein" and he figured out how to open his cage door. We used to find him all over the place.

Haha, we keep pegs on the cage door. We are hoping they don't figure out how to open the pegs.

I love rats, they're such intelligent creatures. And their inner anatomy is laid out very similar to ours. They're awesome.

Intelligent sometimes haha. Other times they can be so silly. I could have a bit of food in my hand and they will literally look everywhere around my hand for the bit of food trying to find it.

They were born on the 29th of October last year. So still less than a year old.
