[NOW ACTIVE][INFO UPDATED] Monetary System and Shop!

As the forum is still fairly new, we (the mods) are constantly working toward making this forum a place for people to enjoy and a place were we can engage one another as much as possible. That being said, here are some new things that are headed our way

MONETARY SYSTEM

If you post a _ then you get _ gold;

New Thread: 20g
New Poll: 20g
New Full Reply: 10g
New Quick Reply: 10g

There is something else called "wages" that I have enabled, and this is how that will work;

Members will earn weekly wages.
If you post 10 time in a week, you will earn 100g deposited directly into your wallet.
These wages go up 10 posts per 100 gold.
This means that 20p=200g etc, and it caps out at 50p=500g (for now).
You can only earn ONE wage at a time, so if you post 50 times in a week, you will ONLY get 500g.

COIN PURSE/WALLET VS BANK

Your coin purse/wallet is where all of your wages/post earnings are directly deposited. It is also where your donations will go, if someone donates gold to you.

Your Bank Account is where your savings will go. I highly suggest using it, as you will earn earn gold at an interest rate of 4%. This means that the more money you deposit into your bank account, the higher chance you have of earning better a gold amount from your interest!


THE SHOP

The shop is where you can spend your gold. Items will be pricey, as earning gold is extremely easy.

Here are a few of our items that you can currently select:

Custom Title: 10,000g (mine is currently set as "olivia_the_lamb")
Custom Forum Skin: 15,000g (let us know the colours you want, and we'll make a skin for you to use!)
Name Change: 20,000g (can only be purchased three times)

You will also be able to purchase an avatar and/or signature banner made by one of our mods (Cascador or Taliesin), who are know for their artistic prowess. Prices for these items have not yet been set, but will be released when the shop goes live.

Another exciting set of items that you'll be able to purchase are the Guild items. This will take a little longer to complete, as there are many different sets of armour and weapons for you to pick. These will be used for guild members and will help out greatly during guild wars!

Badges will also be able to be purchased, but we're still working on the art and prices for them as well.

STOCK MARKET

You can now purchase stock units in our stock market! Let's just make sure it doesn't crash! Purchase stock in real companies with your gold (none of this real, btw, just the company names). In the future, there may be gold or other items you can receive if you hold the most stock in a company or overall. I thought it would be a fun thing to try.

If you are artistically inclined and want to have a try at making avatars/signature banners for purchase in the shop, PM me and let me know. You will earn extra gold when your items are purchased as well.

just curious but is there a reason for the bank, or is it just for people who are like me and put money into it just because? I'm not dissing it in no way but I was just curious if the bank was there because it's possible to steal other peoples gold or something like that, not that I would, but just curious.

Nope, it's just there to put your money away, like a real bank. I will edit this post and include it (I forgot about it when typing the post... I've had 4 hours of sleep lol). There is something kind of cool about it that you guys need to know about

When you purchase a avatar or banner from one of the two; is it a pre-made set or do you get to pick the art and quote?

You'll need to message the person you ordered the avatar and/or banner from and discuss with them how you want to do it.
