Does/has anyone here watch(ed) Arrow, the tv series about Green Arrow? If so, what do you think about it?

I want to but I haven't yet(no cable and haven't renewed netflix in an age). The fact that they've got a street level character taking on some of my favorite villains(deathstroke and deadshot) makes me really interested. Couple that with the fact that this is the same sort of production that the upcoming Constantine show will be and I want to know what to expect there.

I'm no expert on DC Comics and their characters, so I can't say anything about how true the series stays to the comics, but I enjoy the show very much. Deathstroke is a pretty cool villain, and although he looks much older in the comics (afaik) I really like Manu Bennett in this role.

I love Arrow and I think it is a very good show. The only characters I find myself disliking are Loral (spelling?) and her sister Sarah.

True, I also find it hard to like Laurel. I'm not quite sure what to think about Sarah, but I think she isn't quite as annoying as her sister. And talking about sisters... Thea is such a drama queen!

OH MY GOSH. Like I said I am not completely caught up with season two, but the snippets I saw of her from season two and what I saw of her in season one, geez. She is really self important in my honest opinion. The way she freaked out when she found out she was Malcolm Merlin's daughter...Like I know it is an awkward situation and all...But she was so angry at everyone else.

As if it was such a big deal. The problem is that she never even thinks about what that means, she just reacts, and when she does she turns into the worst drama queen on earth. Every once in a while it seems as if she changed, or could change, but every time she has the potential to turn into a reasonable person (and more likeable character) something happens that eliminates all the potential.

I know! At one point I was like "Oh she is not too bad", (when she started running Oliver's club) then she turns and freaking starts flipping out over Roy...and then from there I recall her getting progressively worse.
The best female character in the show is Felicity. Hands down.
