I played about 5 hours of Dragon Age Origins according to my Steam stats. I found it hard to get into which is why I played so little of it, but I've always wanted to try it again some time.

I loved the first Dragon Age game. When I had finished it my mind was blown and I wanted to start another playthrough right away. And despite all the hate I actually liked Dragon Age 2, although it didn't have the same atmosphere (or story depth? or character depth? I don't know) as the first game.
And now I'm curious about what Dragon Age Inquisition will be like. I haven't watched any trailers yet, and I've only seen a couple of screenshots, but as usual I'll wait until it's been released to see whether I can borrow it and see what it's like.

I like Dragon Age II as well, but since it all took place in a big city and the dungeons were all just replicas of each other, it was quite lacking. The story was fairly interesting, but I didn't care that much about my companions. Certainly not to the level of any companions in Origins. I've seen a few companions, including romance options in Inquisition and it looks quite interesting. From first assumption based on the trailers and screenshots it already looks like a large improvement on Dragon Age II.

I agree. I only played the beginning if 2 at a friend's house and I don't know, while the character creation seemed to be better the fact that you couldn't pick a race and whatnot was a bit of a deal breaker for me. now you can have the original races plus I heard that you can create a Qunari, that's exciting. I also like the size of the world that the game takes place in, though I do wish it was completely open and not just a bunch of areas that you can travel to. I'm looking forward to seeing more gameplay and when the game comes out I will most definitely be buying it.

Bioware is releasing a big-ass special edition. The 'Inquisitor' Edition, with a large number of 'toys', no news of ingame content and a large sum to pay, namely 170 dollars.

I did NOT appreciate Dragon Age II, but I beat Dragon Age: Origins about 5-6 times, played Awakening 3-4 times, and had like, all the DLC for DA:O >_>
I didn't even beat DA:II once, and I'm not ashamed because I just did not like the game.
I can NOT wait for DA:Inquisition though. It looks phenomenal.
