As nobody here watches Arrow, chances are you haven't heard of the upcoming TV series about the Flash. If I had seen this trailer without knowing how Barry Allen is portrayed in Arrow, I would have probably thought that this series would be rather cheesy and only focused on the special effects, or rather on Barry Allen running around. But I really liked the character, and if The Flash will be as good as Arrow it'll definitely be worth watching. In my opinion.

I'm going to say something rather blasphemous here. Sorry, Firiath! I really didn't enjoy the first five episodes of Arrow at all. I really tried to like it but it bored me to tears. I really kinda hope The Flash doesn't do the same because I always kinda liked that character in the few comics I read of him back when I was a kid.

Oh, that's okay. Although I like Arrow a lot I accept your opinion. I didn't really like most of the characters at the beginning, but grew to like most of them (and accept the others) - I wasn't even sure whether I liked Oliver Queen at the beginning! About The Flash... I think the series has a lot of potential, but I fear that too much CGI (potentially bad CGI) could ruin the show quickly. Let's hope that won't happen! D:

D: Yup, I have that concern too. Hopefully, being a television series (and therefore not having a Hollywood sized movie budget) will force them to use it sparingly. I'd rather they concentrated on the story and characters first.

I've never watched en ep of arrow, but I might one day. I'm already way behind on the shows I watch right now, so I can't pick up another one yet. Are Arrow and the Flash linked shows? Will they have crossovers and stuff?

I think they will, as the Arrow appears in the trailer of The Flash. Also, Barry Allen was introduced in the current season of Arrow, and it was even shown how we was struck by lightning. Super cool.

The DC shows are likely to do a lot of crossing over since they haven't been doing as good on the movie front. I think it'd ben interesting if they made Constantine meet Ollie or Barry, if only so he could be a jerk to them.

I watch and absolutely love Arrow (I have only seen the first season and a few season 2 episode, and once season 2 gets released I will catch up haha), and have been dying to see the new Flash show, because he is one of my favorite superheros. From the trailer it seemed good to me, and I really really pray it does not flop.
