Hell yeah. I've been trying to play more lately too. My computer starts overheating when I play for too long though, I don't know if the game is still poorly optimized because features are still being added or if the fan in my PC is whack.
All about the occultist life.

When they release multiplayer I'll probably just make a new character to play with you

I've been trying to do a good magic build but there is only one pure magic class right now, I'm itching for them to release the next one so I can specialize. In the meantime I've just been trying a pet build with an occultist, I'm a huge fan of pet builds in these games. Saves you some clicking.

Yeah, my first character was an oracle but i maxed her out lol. I'm spending way too much time on this game oops.
That chain-lightning type spell is awesome besides the recharge time. But once I found how OP duel wielding was I was kind of hooked. But there is a blade dance that basically kills everyone around you. It's awesome.

AoE attacks are great, I'm lacking them as an occultist because I keep pumping points into pets. Eventually the pets will have AoEs though and it will all just snowball.
There are so many whimsical ways to be OP in these games, I love it. Titan Quest, Path of Exile, I haven't actually played any of the Diablo games but I may eventually.

what kind of game is it? I obviously can't play it now with no computer but maybe when I get one I'll pick it up.

It's an ARPG. It's made by the people who made Titan Quest if you've played that. I suppose it's similar to a game like Diablo (though I've never played Diablo). It's a really cool game, imo. It was kickstarted and it being slowly developed through an alpha and beta. The developers are getting lots of feedback and ideas from fans and it's really kind of organic. I haven't played enough games to know very much but I think it's really fun.

I'm kind of bummed the temporary level cap is 35 for now too. With my pet build it is kind of rough, I can't take a three hits from anything in the Steps of Madness so I have to run around in circles while my pets do all the work and I try to shoot huge lightning nukes but then die for stopping for a second. I might retool and get rid of my lightning attack and just pump up the pets even more.

what exactly is an ARPG? I don't quite know what the A stands for.
edit: just out of curiosity cause I just thought of this right after posting, does it stand for adventure or something along those lines?

Action I'm pretty sure. Not turn based or strategy.

yeah, it stands for action. It just means it's not like final fantasy or something. I only know because I looked up the genre on wikipedia lol.
But steps of torment blows. We need to co-op it when it comes out. I don't want to go through the heartbreak a third time

I've osmotically gained all video game knowledge from being a layabout, don't worry man.
Yeah I'm itching for co-op too after digging deep in again. The game just got a ton of sales on steam though because there was a temporary price cut, maybe that will get the team to hustle. I guess they already are regularly releasing updates on progress and with content though which is really good.
