Well,I'm sure guys do them too, they just probably call them differently.
But it's this feeling of nostalgia, this feeling of cozzyness, the bonding that makes it awesome. So do any of you lasses or lads remember any good slumber parties you had? What you did back then, how long you stayed up? I'm pretty sure everyone lies around the place in slumber parties but nobody wants to sleep until very early in the morning maybe! Lol!
This should actually be the thread about what games you like to play and what you like to do if you spent a weekend alone with friends at night while it's raining outside

I did once for a birthday sometime in middle school. Unfortunately we had conflicting political ideals and both of us were peaking our indignant know-it-all stage of development so I think we squabbled a bit.
Two years ago I stayed over at a friend's for the new year but me and another guy didn't sleep, we stayed up working on ideas for a game engine and playing suspicious false edutainment titles.
I don't have many fond memories of the past, I tend to remember all the worst parts but playing a super hard Anne Frank platformer at 4 am is noteworthy. The damn elephants kept killing me before I could get all the diamonds, bogus!

I used to do that a lot; I had a best friend Dawn (will not speak to her today)and a best friend James (fell out of touch); he always slept in my brothers room. He would come into town (lived way out in the country) on like Friday or Saturday and spend the week end with us. With Dawn we would stay up late talking, watching movies. James and I played a lot of video games and watched movies. James and I pulled a lot of all nighters int he living room when he came out on Fridays. ' Me and my friends in Dtown; even though we are adults still do 'sleep overs'. Used to be in Becky's basement; I would come over and crash at her place while I was there and cause I was there Royce would sleep over too. Now there is mildew in the basement; so Becky 'moved out' and Royce's mom has been letting her crash on their couch and now I crash on the air mattress when I go over. We had more fun at Becky's, we could have a few drinks; watch movies. We can still do the movies; but Mama Vicky wont let us have anything to drink in her apartment

I went to all kinds of slumber parties as a kid. I remember visiting my best friend after our families moved apart. She had a ton of girls over and we brought sleeping bags and slept on the floor in the living room on her birthday. I think we were about 12 or 13. After the rest of the house was quiet we played a game called "Truth, Dare, Double Dare, Promise-to-Repeat" which was quite hilarious to our pre-teen sensibilities. Good grief, I cringe to think about the stuff we dared each other to do. lol When we were teenagers we used to have sleepovers with the kids down the road during haying season on the farm in summer. We'd pack a backpack full of snacks, get some drinks, flashlights and sleeping bags and sleep out in the barn in the hay mow overnight. There's something kind of fun about sleeping 20+ feet off the floor, but I gotta say that hay is awfully prickly...even through a sleeping bag.
