Nope, corn snakes are actually "rat snakes" (not to be confused with rattler snakes, which I was confused at first lol) and they're more closely related to constrictors than pythons.

Nope. Corn snakes are really docile and typically only bite if you have your hand in the enclosure during feeding time (from what I've read and been told by first hand accounts). Other bites can occur can other times, but only if you mistreat the snake or it's shedding because they shed the top layer of their eyeballs and can't see when they do it so it's your own fault if you're trying to mess with it while it can't see lol

Sunday will be his first meal with me. Right now he will be eating newborn baby mice (either alive or pre-killed, haven't decided which I'm going to do yet) that weigh about 2-3 grams. He'll eat mice his whole life basically, they'll just get bigger as he does.

Cool! I wish I had a hookup like that, I have a feeling it can get expensive. Luckily they only eat like once a week, and even less when they're adults

Oh my pet store will give me deals. She only charged me $68 for what I got when I picked up my snake and she charged my friend $97 for the same thing lmao
