I can't believe how violent it was. I had to look away. I mean, yeah I knew it was coming because I've read the books but dear sweet jesus that was gratuitous, in my opinion.

Twas quite a lot of blood that's for sure. I think it's certainly one of the goriest deaths so far.

It made me almost want to throw up. I had to look away when the Mountain shoved his thumbs into Oberyn's eyes. I have a weird thing with my eyes and it just made me queasy. I didn't watch the rest of the scene but heard it all and looked right when they panned over his dead body with his head all smashed in. It was absolutely disgusting. My poor boyfriend was sitting in shock, as Oberyn was his favourite character

It certainly lived up to what was in the book and I certainly waited for Oberyn to say his words. That was the best fight scene I've seen in Game of Thrones.

I think it's the best fight I've ever seen on TV. I was watching the production video and all the training Pedro Pascal had to undergo to do the fight. That guy is the man.

Saw it as well. He is the perfect cast for the Red Viper. I kept watching the fight. But I'm also looking forward to the big battle next week.

Sorry for the double post, but I feel like commenting on the season finale. ... which was amazing. I had a mental list of things that would still have to happen in this season, and I could cross almost everything off the list while watching the show. I loved what they did with Brienne's and Arya's storylines, because they are two of my favourite characters. It's a shame things turned out the way they did, but I knew this was going to happen. Also, Stannis appearing in the North - super epic! The only thing that I couldn't cross off the list was the appearance of Lady Stoneheart. But I can totally understand they didn't put that into the episode as well. It would have been too much, and I'm sure they need a couple of shocking revelations for the beginning of the next season.

Okay well I had a huge response typed out and for once it didn't ask me if I wanted to save a draft and I accidentally closed the window, but just now you have an incoming review of the last episode from me lol

Last episode: I cried when she had to chain the dragons up. Bloody Drogon. The sounds they made were heartbreaking.

Yeah that moment was sad. There were a lot of sad moments, even just with Tywin and his "loyal" son.

True. That scene Crouton mentioned was really heart-breaking. And I did feel a bit sorry for Tywin. I always liked him, despite his behaviour towards Tyrion!
