Hey sorry, things have been a bit odd for me lately, I'll get a post up tomorrow and we can really get this thing rolling (even though it's just us two right now >_<)

So what is the basic layout for where you are wanting this to go? I got two characters posted yesterday and I read all of the ones posted. I still need to read the rest of your post and Livs and make one. (working on my guild at the moment); but what should I be planning for?

The main story is going to follow the Martel fork which mostly deals with deal making and political maneuvering and the Council fork which will be about them trying to uncover where Bacchus is, who's supporting him, and putting down the insurrection. I really can't give a detailed outline because would give away too much of what's going to happen, but you can influence these two plot lines however you choose since some events are going to happen no matter what.

Also make sure to pm me about anything notable about the half elved(if anything). They're not in the assigned standard races but they're common enough in fantasy stories that approving them should be pretty simple.
And if it makes it any simpler, I will tell you things are going to get very bad for the council very quickly, so that will probably be the easiest plot to jump into, although getting work from Martel could also be interesting.

Gartol: Home of the king and the largest port in the land, Gartol is the oldest of the city states and the most prosperous, as well as being the home of the most famous philosophers
Rem: Second most prosperous city state in Bristenya and controlling the most farmland is Rem, built on the site of three intersecting rivers, Rem is home to many of the land's most skilled musicians
Hurshu: The second largest city state and home of the largest army and arguably the most talented painters in the land
Thresia: Built on a mountain is Thresia, home of the smallest but most deadly army in the land. Thresians are also noted for their talent in sculpture and stone masonry which were critical to the establishment of the city
Nurcoth: Surrounded by dense forest is Nurcoth, home to the most skilled jewel crafters and doctors in the land
Jeva Jewel of the East: Built on a large underground water spring, surrounded by plains and geysers, and home to the most learned mages in the land, this is where many of the artists of the land will go to craft their masterpieces as the noble houses are usually the most generous with their wealth aside from the king himself
Jraken Hall: Built beneath a mountain in the deep south lands this city is somewhere between functioning city state and prison colony. Legend has it this city was founded in order to appease a king who was usurped by his younger brother. The city beneath a mountain was built to show the divine providence of this event because the older brother believed it couldn't be done, when he saw his city he accepted and also took to holding those who broke the laws of the other city states as there could be no better place for it. This city has the largest population of dwarves and churches as well as having the lowest rates of criminal acts if rumors are to be believed.
Travel between cities depends on class mostly, less affluent people may never have even been to the city that heads their region, businessmen who've seen all seven cities are very common and nobility are almost required to own homes in each of them. Culture is pretty much up to whoever posts about a given city state first beyond what little I've put here so you guys can feel free to get creative.

Are their check points that ask your busnesses? a need for papers?
Or can you just come and go?

That would generally depend on the state of things in the land at any given time, but if there's not a reason to be concerned I doubt they'd ask for papers given how logistically infeasible checking everyone out would be.

Hey, so, my character is coming from the western forest lands or "outlands" or whatever you will. Are you against me making up small towns that are insignificant along the way ? Also, could you say where those cities are located, so I can have a general gist of which way my character will be traveling to get to those cities?

I'm sorry that my post is so short, I just really wanted to get something up so you could get your part of the story moving, Shogun. I'm having a serious lack of creativity over here because I'm stressed out about our impending move.

Mine is going to be sort too; I am out of practice and don't have a lot to go off of here.
